The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Taya Kyle to honor the life and legacy of her husband, “American Sniper” Chris Kyle.
Chris and Taya knew first-hand the challenges military families encounter from their lives of service. They experienced their own trials as both individuals and as a couple. They were blessed to know many other couples in both the military and first responder communities. The issues these marriages face are strikingly similar. The camaraderie among those with hearts for service led Chris and Taya to brainstorm how they could best assist those who serve our nation and communities.
The foundation serves in several different ways, all designed to help military and first responder couples. See sidebar at right.
Revitalization Retreats (RR) are the flagship program at the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) and are directly inspired by the personal experiences of Chris and Taya. These retreats represent a unique opportunity for military and first responder couples to downshift from the intensity of a service-focused life and reconnect with a weekend all to themselves.
Before a Revitalization Retreat, couples are paired with a Licensed Professional Counselor who conducts an assessment designed to build stronger team functioning through identifying strengths and reducing conflict. After the retreat, the couples can choose to have additional counseling if they want it.
Upon return from a retreat, couples are also welcomed to the CKFF Alumni cohort, which includes continued contact and participation with our foundation as well as a private Facebook group open only to CKFF program Alumni.
We are proud to have the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation as one of our valued clients. They are doing great things and helping those who have served our country and communities.
